UTAH

AN ADVENTURE OUT WEST

Utah is one of those U.S. states that truly has it all. Four seasons, five national parks, 500 (!) inches of snowfall on average per year and a whole lot of adventure to be had.

Not into cross country skiing? Don’t worry, Utah hosts the Sundance Film Festival in Park City every year so you can wine, dine and be arty.

There is so much to do in Utah and we know that you have so little time. Book a call with one of our dreamy Utah Tastemakers and spend less time researching and more time traveling!

Anna Cook Utah Travel Consultant
  • EXPERTISE | Salt Lake City, National Parks + Outdoor Adventure

PROFILE | Anna hails from the east coast and has spent her life traveling near and far. She became a Utah resident four years ago after meeting her husband (a Utah native) and hasn’t wasted any time exploring her new home state.

Anna spends most of her time outdoors where you can find her snowboarding, hiking, camping or boating (to name a few). It became her passion to help friends and family who were visiting Utah plan out the perfect itinerary for their interests.

Now with a newborn in tow, Anna is setting out to find the best ways to explore Utah as a family of 3!

Where is your favorite place to go in Utah? Kanab! It's such a cute little town and offers a ton to do nearby as well. Spoiler alert: some of the best things Utah has to offer are not in the national parks!

When is the best time to visit Utah? The best time to visit really depends on your interests! Summer is perfect for boating, hiking and camping in Northern Utah. Spring and fall are great times to hike, camp or sightsee in Northern and Southern Utah. Northern Utah is the place to be in the winter if you’re a skier or if you want to visit the National Parks without the crowds. Utah really has it all!

  • EXPERTISE | Park City + Luxury Travel

PROFILE | Similar to John Muir, the mountains were calling for Kelley. Born and raised by the beach in Southern California, Kelley eventually made her way to Park City, Utah and has never looked back. She considers herself a true mountain girl at heart and lives in Park City year round with her fiancé while working remotely for a tech start up company in the real estate space.

Depending on the season, Kelley spends her free time skiing the various resorts in the Wasatch mountains, horseback riding, floating down the Provo river and road tripping to national parks to embrace all the natural beauty that Utah has to offer. She loves to stay active but also frequently indulges in the local dining scene and has been to nearly every restaurant and bar in the Park City area.

Since living in a vacation town full time, Kelley has had an influx of visitors over the past several years and has become a master host and planner. One of her favorite pastimes and love languages is building customized itineraries for her friends and family. She finds great joy in curating an enjoyable, seamless and memorable experience for her loved ones with the ultimate goal of having everyone fall in love with Utah.

Favorite thing about Utah? I would say Utah’s distinctly beautiful seasons and all of the new energy and activities that come with the turning of the months. You can find something uniquely special to do within every season. My favorite seasons are summer and fall; summer for the outdoor music scene and road trips and the fall for the mesmerizing mountain foliage (something you should not miss - timing is key)!

Describe your perfect day in Park City. Start the morning with a hike to a beautiful lake, grab lunch on Main St. in Park City and then make your way down to Sundance Mountain Resort. Enjoy a spa treatment and indulge in some of the best cuisine in the area at any of their delicious restaurants. End dinner with a nightcap at their onsite bar sitting next to a fireplace and listening to the sweet sound of live country music.
